This ministry year, we are so excited to be able to re-gather for in-person Children's Ministry, following health and safety protocols in order to love and care for one another.

As a community of faith, our ministry to, for, and with children and families is as important as ever.

** In-person Southwood Kids programming RETURNS on Sunday, March 6th with masks and HEPA air filters running. No registration will be required.**

Everything you need to know about Kids' church!

Children AGES 3 AND UP are invited to join together each week for music, games, bible stories and more! Masking remains mandatory for all inside the building.

Kids can be dropped off any time after 10:00 AM on Sunday mornings in the Fellowship Hall, just down the hallway on your right when you come in through the main entrance. We ask that grown-ups check kids in before heading inside for worship. Children need to stay with their leaders until grown-ups come to pick them up after service to ensure safety. Inside the building masking remains mandatory. In addition, three large HEPA filtration units are operating in the space(s) where Kids' ministry is happening.

To maintain as safe an environment as possible, masking will be in place for Kids Ministry spaces, as well as in the Sanctuary for services. Masks will not be required in other areas of the building. We're also running HEPA air filtration units in the spaces where Kids' ministry is happening.

A reminder that kids who have been confirmed to have COVID, have been in close contact with a positive case, or who are feeling unwell or experiencing any possible symptoms, should not attend during their illness or isolation period.

At this time, we will not be providing Nursery care, however, the Nursery is open (with worship service audio available) for grown-ups to take children UNDER 3 into if needed. The Nursery will not be open to children over 3 years of age. Washable toys are available and a receptacle will be provided for used toys, which are run through the sterilizer after use each week.

If you would prefer to sit with your kids in the sanctuary, you are more than welcome to do so, as well!

Yes! If your children feel more comfortable worshipping with you in the sanctuary, they are welcome to do so. (And if and when they're ready, they're always invited to join us in our Southwood Kids program, too!)

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact Pastor Corinne by email or by phone at (403) 253-2979 (during office hours, press 5 from the main menu).
