Spending of funds is confined to Council-approved programs and projects. Each contribution designated toward an approved program or project will be used as designated, with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason, the remaining designated contributions will be used where most needed as determined by the Council.
Giving via e-Transfer is simple, instant, and doesn't require the use of a credit card. We are set up to receive Interac e-Transfers® via email. All you need is an account with (nearly) any Canadian bank or credit union (click here to see a full list) and an email address or mobile number.
Enter [email protected] as the recipient's email and your donation will be auto-deposited into the church's bank account (no security question is required). Please include your name and reason for donation in the Message area of your eTransfer, particularly if your legal name may appear differently in your email to us.

PAR allows you to support our congregation through an automatic monthly withdrawal from your bank account, processed through The United Church of Canada, for a very low fee of $0.25 or 2.5% if you choose to use a credit card for your automatic withdrawal.

If you'd like to request Offering Envelopes, please email [email protected]. These can be brought to the church in person or mailed to 10690 Elbow Dr. SW, Calgary AB, T2W 1G4.
Please only send cheques, not cash, in the mail.
We are registered as a charity with SkipTheDepot, a service that will pick up your bottles/recycling and return the proceeds either to you OR to a charity of your choice (including Southwood United Church).
