Same Philosophy - New Name - Broader Approach

Throughout 2020 & 2021 while our program was on hiatus due to Covid, our core leadership team (Corinne, Emily, Cara and Robert) have dreamt, reimagined and expanded our idea of what our Musical Theatre Program could look like going forward. Our new name brings with it an expanded and more holistic performing arts program which we hope will have a a wider community impact, a renewed focus on community outreach (including food security), opportunities for local emerging artists, a focus on inclusion, and mental health, while continuing to create a safe, non-competitive, nurturing, and welcoming space for students and their families.

With the award of an “Embracing the Spirit Innovation Grant” from the United Church of Canada, we are excited to proceed with some of our new initiatives this Fall! Our new programs will include wider access to low-cost, high-quality programming including some new and exciting initiatives such as workshops and perhaps some NON-musical performances!

Students in our programs will continue to learn a variety of skills throughout the class/production process including: auditioning, basic vocal technique, acting, character development, theatre history and terminology and more.

Class Fees: Fall - $50.00 per student. Spring - $100.00 per student. Workshops: TBD. Confidential bursaries are available.

All our programs are open to Members of the church and the wider community.
