This home-based ministry provides a space for millennials to ask questions, engage or re-engage with the Christian faith, and to experience Southwood in community with others. The group will adopt a regular rhythm of shared meals, prayer, Bible study, and service projects. Single young adults and young married couples (with or without kids!) are invited to join us on Monday nights, beginning October 2 at 6:30pm, to connect with others in a more intentional way.
(Re-)joining our staff team this Fall is Sam Grottenberg. Sam is a self-described Bible-nerd and liturgy-geek, a social media enthusiast, and a keen ecumenical networker. When he’s not reading books, you might find him on the golf course, cycling, or learning a new method of brewing coffee.
He and his wife, Stephanie (Steph), have two energetic daughters under three, Evalee and Charis. Sam was also recently made a candidate for ordination in the United Church of Canada.
